The "Hamburg-Shanghai European Tourism Center" project is a friendly cooperation project between the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Hamburg Municipal Government, and a platform for Sino-German cultural exchanges. It has dual political and economic significance. This project was commissioned by the Shanghai Municipal Government to invite bids for Shanghai Yuyuan Mall Co., Ltd., and our company won with strong design and foreign construction experience. The smooth implementation of the project indicates that the brand of CZICC has been recognized by the domestic and foreign engineering contracting markets.
The design scheme of the project is based on the model of Shanghai Yuyuan Garden, and the lake is artificially built. The landmark traditional buildings of Shanghai, including the lake center pavilion, Jiuqu Bridge and Green Wave Gallery Restaurant, will be transplanted to Hamburg, and equipped with a multi-functional cultural hall and a restaurant for Chinese food. Visitors can enjoy the original Nanxiang Xiaolongbao and other famous Shanghai snacks, tea and Chinese food here. Various exhibitions, lectures and performances of Chinese folk artists with Chinese cultural characteristics are regularly displayed here to promote the image of Shanghai, spread Chinese culture, and promote the friendship between the two countries.
The courtyard of the main building of the tourist center and the tortuous water surface, the lake pavilion in the center of the water surface, the Jiuqu bridge, the memorial arch, the driveway, the promenade and the flower wall form several scattered small courtyards, and each small courtyard and the main courtyard are interspersed and circulated, resulting in rich and varied spatial effects. The environmental design of the center makes full use of the gardening techniques of Suzhou gardens, and pursues the combination of natural landscape and human landscape. Through the combination of landscape, flowers and trees, and architecture, we can create a Chinese garden artistic conception of twists and turns and changing scenery step by step. At the same time, plant varieties with Chinese characteristics, such as pine, bamboo, lotus and willow, are organically matched with Chinese garden elements such as curved bridge, lake stone, floor paving and architecture, emphasizing the Chinese atmosphere. The teahouses and restaurants that imitate the traditional architecture of Shanghai show the dexterous charm of Jiangnan architecture, just like being in the old city of Shanghai, becoming a direct window to appreciate Chinese culture and feel the customs of Shanghai in Europe.
