Chinese Ambassador to Holland Mr. Wu Ken Visited Pandasia Construction Site

In the morning of November 4, 2016, Chinese ambassador to Holland, Mr. Wu Ken, accompanied by Governor of Utrecht, Mr. W.I.I. van Beek, Mayor of Rhenen, Mr. J.A. Van der Pas, the owner of the zoo, Mr. M.M.J.J. Mr. Boekhoorn, General Manager of the zoo, Mr. Robin de Lange, Chairman of CZICC, Mr. Li Hongbal, visited our Pandasia Construction Site. 
Ambassador Wu visited the function areas of living, food preparation, physical treatment, breeding nursery and ect for pandas, and the public areas such as science popularization,  Chinese restaurant, gift shop and etc.. He heard the reports carefully about plan and design, construction standards and progress made by us and the zoo, then discussed the acceptance and other follow-up matters together. Ambassador Wu also saw Chinese and Holland workers and accepted the interview by Utrecht TV, "Gelderland Daily" and other medias. 
Ambassador Wu appreciated the efforts for pandas by Dutch and Chinese people and said after the hard work by CZICC and local contractors in more than one year, the construction of Pandasia is close to the end, the whole building is beautiful and grand, full of strong characteristics of Chinese culture, which is helpful for pandas. He hopes that everyone keeps working hard, improves facilities and staffing, and formulates relevant plans to ensure the successful arrival, settlement and stay of pandas.
